From the President

This institute has many personal stories. Most of the people whom these stories can be told about no longer exist. Have they been abducted, has someone kidnapped them, are they being held in some lockup? The answer is no to all of the above. They are the stories of the people whose life has changed for the better. These people no longer would make the same unhealthy choices they once did.

They now lead productive and dignified lives. They are profoundly different with a positive new standard of values and ethics.

In the midst of our own difficulties, whether large or small, it is hard to see beyond our pain. We naturally draw into ourselves and ignore one whose problems appear minor in comparison. We forget that each burden is heavy to the one who carries it. We need to open our eyes to the hurts around us. Then with love we must help to heal them.

The Maccabee Institute has been helping others with great concern and love to carry their burdens. Please join us in this labor of love and become a partner with us in healing.
